This unique integration of yoga and Stand Up Paddle board (SUP YOGA) is the ultimate land to sea experience, guaranteed to harmonize the mind, body, and soul. Conveniently located just minutes from the San Diego airport, scenic Shelter Island is the perfect getaway. The tropical setting at the Kona Kai resort offers sweeping views of the San Diego skyline and the bayside marina that’s sure to put you in a blissful state of mind. SUP Yoga & Brunch workshops are offered on Sunday’s from 9-1 pm. The class gathers at the hotel lobby at 8:45 am. Please wear sunscreen and comfortable yoga clothing that can get wet. Feel free to bring water to stay well hydrated. Each student receives personalized instruction on water safety and rescue as well as basic paddle technique and turns. The fee is $125 which includes the board/paddle rental, SUP lesson, guided yoga class on the water, gourmet menu brunch with bottomless mimosas or bloody mary’s, access to lounge poolside, and 20% off spa services. How Does it work?

An open floor room is required where employees can attend a yoga class. No previous experience is neccessary and all levels are welcome. Each class is specialized to meet the needs of any group, size or ability level.

Sessions may include gentle stretching and movement, flowing asana practice, relaxation and meditation, and breathing exercises. Students can bring their own yoga mats. Corporate yoga sessions can be scheduled before work, at lunchtime, late afternoon or after work.

Classes are usually one hour and meet one to two times per week. The duration of the sessions are flexible.
